The BSF Online website requires members and leaders to sign in with their BSF Online accounts to join their Online Meetings each week
Once the weekly discussion meeting has started, Online Group Leaders and Group Members can share the Zoom link with Visitors and Mini Study attendees who don't have a BSF Online account. Follow the steps below to find and share it.
Important! A new Zoom Meeting "Invitation Link" is generated when a meeting remains inactive for more than 24 hours. *
Online Group Leaders: Start your weekly group discussion using the ‘Start Meeting’ button
Online Group Members: Join your weekly group discussion using the ‘Join Meeting’ button
Zoom updated the menu bar at the bottom, and the invite link is in the upper left corner under ⓘ Zoom Meeting (and no longer behind the Green Shield icon on the top right).
Copy the Invite Link from this box (see below) and share it with the Visitors and Mini Study attendees via email or WhatsApp (Reminder: This information changes when a meeting remains inactive for more than 24 hours.*)
Another option to copy the link is to click on the "^" to the right of "Participants" icon at the bottom of the screen and Copy invite link.
Visitors and Mini Study Attendees: Receive the shared link and copy/paste this link into your Internet browser to launch and join the meeting.
*A Zoom meeting invitation link contains a specific Meeting ID, so when the link changes, the Meeting ID changes with it. If a meeting stays inactive for more than 24 hours, participants who saved the original Meeting ID will no longer be able to use it to join. The Passcode does not change because it is the 5-digit OLM class code or ODG group code.
