We are aware that some members have issues when accessing through a VPN service. This surfaces more frequently when someone is on a corporate VPN, which is a known issue.  We also are aware that some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) offer a VPN service, and out of the few hundred thousand users we have, only a very small handful have ever reported a problem related to being on a VPN. In the rare situation where a VPN service doesn’t allow you to connect to our web resources, it is possibly due to the tight security we have on those web resources that conflict with those of the VPN service.


If you experience difficulties connecting to our web resources, we recommend you temporarily disconnect from the VPN.  In some cases, when at a company location, a special security gateway may also be causing a connection issue. If you are using a mobile device, one way to test to see if it is an Internet issue is to not use wifi to connect and only use the data plan of your mobile device (again, disconnect from any WiFI hotspot).  If it works when on cellular data only, then your Internet connection could possibly be the source of the problem.
