Preparation

  • Identify Support:
    Determine class leaders or members who can assist with the upload process.

  • Assign Role:
    Add the Lecture Uploader (LU) role to the selected member(s) using the instructions provided in Add a Leader or Ministry Service Role to a Member.

  • Calendar Check:
    Note that meeting calendars control which lesson/lecture appears on the Lessons page.


Upload Process

  1. Log In:
    Sign on to MyBSF.

  2. Navigate to Lessons:
    Go to Lessons and select Upload Lecture.

  3. Select Lesson:
    Choose the appropriate lesson and click Go.

  4. Upload Video File:
    Click Browse under the Lecture File section to select and upload the video file.

  5. Add Lecture Outline:
    Input the lecture outline in the provided text box (typically provided by TL, STL, DOT, or DAOT).

  6. Optional Help:
    For additional details, click Help next to Upload Lecture for step-by-step guidance.

  7. Save:
    Click Save to finalize the upload.


During Upload

  • Processing Indicator:
    While the Processing Status is “Pending,” the screen may refresh every 3 seconds. This is normal and does not indicate an error.

  • Error Handling:
    If an error occurs (message: “An error has occurred. Please try again.”), the Processing Status will show as Failed.

    • Click Replace File and upload the video file again.
